I need a picture of the driver disc to make sure I'm purchasing the correct one for my boxed EvilKing V3 that's missing.

what do you need the pic for?

Actually I just purchased another EvilKing 3... just to get the OEM driver disc which is missing from the mint boxed unit I have here.

Yeah, I was going to put a bid on it too last night but the seller would not get in touch about details I requested from the card.

AND, the box has a tear down the side. I can get one in much better quality.  :)

All I wanted was the disc, which is correct. The seller was good enough to send a picture of it.

The card itself is fine, the seller robbed the fan off it for another card. I'll replace the fan and be selling off the card and box later.

I'm stoked, The boxed card came in today from the Ebay auction- Not only is the driver disk correct it had the manual *AND* the card has 5ns ram!!!!

I'm going to try a little overclocking shortly and let you know if it runs at the rams rated 200 mhz speed.

Quake II results on P3-650 BX platform-

166 mhz = 84.5 FPS
183 mhz = 93.6 FPS
193 mhz = 98.1 FPS
195 mhz = 99.7 FPS
198 mhz = unable to finish timedemo
200 mhz = unable to finish timedemo

No sparkles on the screen during timedemos so I assume the core just will not run at those speeds.

Inital cooling provided by a spare 3500 heatsink and a Gamma Blower. Last certified V3 3dfx drivers used with 1024 x 768 OpenGL in Q2 control panel.

I think this one is a keeper (It would have been anyway, I forgot my other EK3 is a TV version), even with the normal fan cooled heatsink installed it only runs at 90F (33C) at 188 mhz

Now I'll I have to do is find a PCI version to round things out ;-)

Did they ever make a 143 or 183 mhz version of the card?

Seems to vary wildly with Powercolor , here is what I have-

EK3 Pro 166 mhz = 5ns
EK3 Pro TV 166 mhz = 5.5ns
EK3 Pro 166 mhz = 6ns

The 6ns one is listed in the cards for trade thread.

Just the Pro versions listed above, I did add to the post inquiring if anyone had seen or owned a 143 or 183 mhz version.

Good question. I got it from ebay a long time ago. The original box looks like the Pro Version with Extreme instead of Pro label on it.
When I visit my parents I will do some pictures (my flat is to small for my 3dfx collection *G*).
