I suppose it can be said that AMD can come up with the silliest names for their processors.

Hey Paul, maybe the next generation AMD CPU will be codenamed 'darn sarf in Landan'.  'owight mi cockney sparra!  Grin

Talking about A64 Cores, I took some power readings with my machines under full CPU load :

Athlon64 3000+ (Winchester) : 83W
Athlon64 3200+ (Venice) : 85W

That's the total power drawn by the entire System under full steam, quite impressive Cheesy
(without Cool&Quiet, in idle about 60-65W remain, with Cool&Quiet enabled likely around ~50W).
