hope it ok to post this here in this section :-/
i was wondering, isnt that card 3.3v, seems odd they have it keyed for universal slot, dont understand the point

According to ATI, this is actually an AGP 0x Card (PCI66 they say).

So it is 3.3V only...
(got a Retail one myself ;) )

any performance in that card, i looked at reviews but that was when it was new. doesnt look any better than a v3 there.

Never benched it myself, but IMHO it should be somewhere between Voodoo4 and Voodoo5 in performance, unless the Driver has a Problem with the Game/Benchmark.

At least is has enough Fillrate, although the Card was never a great success (Drivers I guess)

hehe, it always makes for a nice Collector's Item.

After all, it is one of the few Dual GPU designs ever built, and they're quite hard to get Retail and in good condition.

XGI Volari Duo of course, and the ATI Dual R9800 Display card (non-functional design study, and it would be really hard to aquire ;) )

Volari V8 Duo <-- cant get this card here, they dont seem to sell it in u.s. i went to sight that says they sell it in germany, have you seen it, if so how much is it do you know?

Well, last time I've seen it, it was still very expensive...

Since the results from this infamous Card have been, well... , "less than stellar" in many reviews, it seems most Resellers quickly abandoned it.

It's definitely something to look out for, but should be hard to get as of now (unless you find a Retailer that still sells it).

Chances are, one day some Shops might clear out their Stocks, but that'll be quite a while.
Since not many of them were ever sold in the first place, they will be definitely somewhat hard to get.

I've been looking into it as well (also wanted a Xabre-600), but the Volari's price tag always put me off in the past.
