Quote:Not even the weirdo 1.00.00b driver which doesn't support passthrough and has no glide or OpenGL support? ???
I just did a quick sweep of the general V2 drivers available on 3dfxzone, all of them state Glide or OpenGL only.
If you were building a non-original system it would be no big deal, just install a GF2 for the main card. An orignal Mercury system only has a 2D Cirrus Logic on board however, limits my options

I envy you with your experimentation although it must be frustrating sometimes.
Just NT and 2000 so far, though I have not tried under 98 (other issues raise their ugly head under Win9x)
Sometimes it's fun (when you can get something working!) other times it's a PITA (now why doesn't this work?!)
Like Descent 3 for example- The game hooks into something that tells it a glide board is installed, I have not found out just what yet and still can't get it to work under NT.
