I don't know, I thought I'd post it. CPU's to me are like vid cards. There's a certain kind of loyalty to them, it's like 3dfx. We all wish they would have came out with that next new card or would have done something different you know? We try to push our old cards to the limit, why else would we be on this site? For me at any rate, I'll be sticking with AMD and ATI. To me they are the same but different. Until they quit making cards, I'll be an ATI fan dead and true. Even though I don't have many 3DFX cards (more because of money then anything else), I still love the cards. So to hell with Intel, show me an AMD fan that's not happy with what they have. Peace out.

And yeah I've had a little bit to drink. Tongue

oh I'll show you something of AMD crazyness

You know thier Green Arrow Logo? aka this one:

here is what I have made with 12 floor tiles

click for a 7.2MP full size shot

If you look carefully it has 9 tiles you might think but 12 were needed since that I needed some extra tiles for the sloped parts of the logo green as sand colour, I needed 4 exrta halfs to make the pattern perfect

Since the carpet I used has a typical pattern, if you cut a square in 2 and use the parts for some sloped parts in some places the pattern changed so another tile was needed

and yeaps I have an AMD/ATI/3dfx rig as well it's still here waiting for it's TFT screen, since my CRT died Sad

I've been playing around with the idea of getting a specialized license plate for my car that says amdrulz or something like that but then I look at my car and how it's held together with duck tape and bumper stickers and realize that it's probably not the best place to advertise something you know?
