Avenger (The chip on Voodoo3's and Velocity's) does not support 32MiB of memory. It supports a maximum of 16MiB.

Yes, it is common knowledge the chip was designed with this limitation.

why would you need an engineer?? This limitation can't be worked around, the only card with a Voodoo3 chip and more then 16MB, is that one from Quantum3D, with 8 of them if I'm not mistaken.
But still it comes down to 16MB per voodoo3 chip, so.... But to answer yer question, Hank Semenec sometimes drops by here, tho I haven't seen him in quite a while. |

there is only a four avenger gpu AAlchemy card, eight is the VSA-100 based
