Title: 3DFX Voodoo2 / Win98SE / DirectX8.2
Post by Clyde on 11.04.05 at 08:52:10
I have a 3dfv voodoo2 card (power color) running on an STB Velocity 4400 video card on windows 98 SE.

When I run the test program of directX it reconize my cards, but the test on the 3dfx failed (test with directX7 : spinning cube all fuzzy, and out of memory error with directX8 test).

Do you know why ? Where can I get a correct driver for that ? I tried some different drivers and I have the same problem.

Thanks in advance.

Normal, don't worry about it.

The Voodoo 3 drivers are only DX7 level and no there are no other drivers.

just like Gary said it's normal that that happens, a Voodoo3 aka Avenger board can only do 256x256 texture format and DX 7 it's it's latest D3D support, onwhich some things may look and appear blurry of fuzzy as you may call it.
