I finally got around to putting together my 3dfx bench PC.

Specs right now are

Canopus Spectra 2500 w/Home made Witch doctor cable
Canopus Pure3d II
AMD Athlon K7 800Mhz
SB Audigy
512Mb SDRam
40Gb HDD
350W PSU
52X CDRW
Win98SE

the motherboard is on standoffs, everythign else is just Hot Glued to the board :)

The game that is running is Unreal Gold

I assume it took you a couple of days to put the stuff together.

Have you run 3D Mark ? Give us some figures.

I wasn't sure about it until I had seen the cable tie (any room for some Gaffa tape ?)

Intel P3 1k
512Mb PC133 SDRam
Asus CUSL2
3dfx Voodoo5 5500
SB Audigy (Not Pictured)
20gb HDD

I learned my lesson from the first build, to face the CDrom the same direction as the power cord.. i have a book shelf i am storing these on and if i face the power and cdrom i can put them all on a shalf and hookup everything and run them while on the shelf.

my 9 y/o has gotten into playing the old Alien vs Predator games :)
