Title: Wolf 3D
Post by paulpsomiadis on 20.08.08 at 02:11:09
Recently got the Wolf 3D port for my PSP...then wondered if there was anyhing compatible with XP. ;)

Came across THIS:

http://newwolf.sourceforge.net/

And look, it works with Voodoo cards too! 8-)

(shame it's a dead project though...) :P

Be sure you guys put the .WL6 and .SOD files in the MAIN NEWWOLF.EXE folder and not the "Basewgl" folder. ;)

Also, don't forget to get Bosco's model pack from the link on the main homepage. :)

more details please..as long as you have mesafx working, and newwolf set up correctly,it should work ok..

unrelevant info: actually, this is the only game I have played on a 3dfx daytona when I was testing it for a bit..

I changed the Voodoo 3 2000 PCI to a Voodoo 4 4500 PCI! I am now using AmigaMerlin 3.11b R11 Itīs now working but has a few glitches.

I don't like how broken newwolf is though so the bilinear filtering is just a novelty.  I'll stick to Wolf3D-SDL

(and it ran like junk on a voodoo2 btw, gzdoom runs faster on the same machine :( )
