Drivers update?
30.01.07 at 20:19:52
ok, I have installed Fastvoodoo2 drivers to my voodoo2Sli system and Amigasport 3.0 drivers in my Voodoo 3000 system. So do I have to update some how Glide drivers to improve graphics quality. I have directX 9 in both system, but there is no use for glide games
give also some other tips to how I can get all from my 3dfx graphics cards

Not too sure what you mean? ???
Do you mean...
1. You can't RUN GLiDE games...
2. You have no GLiDE games to install.
MesaFX is used with newer OpenGL games like "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" and (to some extent) Doom 3 and Quake 4.
You won't need it unless you want to run newer OpenGL games.

no no glide/openGL games works but I meant that do I have to update glide drivers if I have already installed graphic card drivers. I have DirectX 9 because glide games aren't using that API so from directX is no use for OpenGL drives

no no, glide/openGL games works
VERY strange?
I don't see why they shouldn't, especially with FastVoodoo 2 on one system and Amigasport on the other...
Could you give details of the specifications of each system: - O.S., RAM, etc...
Does anyone else have any ideas as to what could cause OGL / GLiDE not to work? ???
==EDIT==
Punctuation mark changed - I see what you mean @Falcon, he's saying that GLiDE games DO work!
DOH! My bad...

Hm, I think missing punctuation caused a misunderstanding here.
@Mansfield
MesaFX unfortunately only comes with minimal and incomplete Instructions, but they should work out to install (I summarized about all I could find alongside each Version)
If you only use old Glide or OpenGL Games that already work fine with the 3dfx Glide/OpenGL, then experimenting around may not be a good idea.
Since using updated Glide cores is very easy, however, you can easily do it by Trial&Error (as soon as you restore the original Glide cores, everything will be back to default). Some speed can be achieved with newer Glide cores in conjunction with faster CPU's.
MesaFX is mainly for new Games that don't run on 3dfx OpenGL at all (or have errors). I wouldn't use it on old games, as they usually tend to run slower or exhibit problematic behaviour in some cases.
