it is supposed to support D3D undex xp,and I would like to try it (Legendgfrafix 2.0 is still not online Sad),if I get some positive feedback here..

The Driver is basically only 'special', since it is based on the (limited) Direct3D capable Win2k V1.00.00beta D3D Core.

It's mainly this old, special D3D Core, mixed with updated Glide/OpenGL capabilities we now have, so it remains experimental (and thus not among the most recommended Downloads)

IMHO, you will have to use the workarounds listed in the Win2k V1.00.00beta Readme, in order to see the Direct3D work (to the limited extend possible with this Core)

So far, no feedback exists (at least I don't know of any), since Direct3D was never really touched after 3dfx gave up on it under the NT Kernel.

thanks.so this driver doesnt work in pass-through mode, right? not a bad idea, using the voodoo2 as a standalone secondary vga capable of glide/opengl/d3d..

Well, in Glide or OpenGL, it should work like any normal Voodoo2 (but to be honest, I'm not sure).

Only in Direct3D, 3dfx had to pull off this Stunt, basically making it a stand-alone Video Adapter using alot of dirty tricks. Never thought about the OpenGL and Glide part in that respect, though.
