Nothing happened to him according to what I know.

Be aware that every User has the right and ability to permanently delete his own Posts and/or Account.

The reason I asked was his name was in black text instead of blue like as if he was no longer an active member or had been banned.

If he was banned, you should see it below his name (I checked and his Account was simply gone, so I assume he deleted it)

I guess so, not many posts he had and (honestly) just this quite unreasonable offer...
