Will Rock any experiences ? running on v5
30.06.03 at 15:48:05
I installed dx9
amigamerlin 2.9 T n L enabled in drivers
got it running but after a while it crashed
tried 3d analyser same result
seemed like a bandwith problem
the action gets to intense and it locks up !
multiplayer you can run around for ever with no lock up
i think the voodoo 5 can`t keep up
Here is the Minimum Required Machine Specification:
Pentium III 500 MHz or Equivalent
128MB of RAM
32 MB video card or higher such as Geforce 2 or ATI Radeon or better
Video card must support hardware transform and lighting (T&L)
Windows Direct X 9 compatible sound card
Windows 98/ME/2000 or XP Operating System
Direct X 9 Required (included on disc)
750MB of free hard drive space
any other experiences ?
still working on it!

Hm, the requirement for a DirectX9 Soundcard sounds strange...
What SFX Card do you have ?
Because older Sound Cards are known to cause odd effects (even crashes you mentioned), as well as old Sounddrivers...
Otherwise, I don't know the game...
Note - The T&L Option in the 3dfx Driver (Geometry Assist) is known to cause incompatibilites with alot (all?) of the T&L Games, so don't worry if it doesn't work.

im just using the sis on board sound on k7s5a
yeah good point i remember blood 2 crashes on certain echo sounds , i`ll update the sound and see how i go
tryed the nu driver 5 as well , game looks good but extremely slow
geometry assist did a better job than 3d analyser
3d analyser cause invisible floors and other missing textures
the game looks very serious sam very similar engine
i`ll try the sound driver after my blood2 experiences its well worth a try (blaming the wrong bit of hardware
)

Good news updated audio drivers
amigamerlin 2.9 geometry assist enabled
turned detail down
running well playable anyhow
(low on hard disk space at the moment , should speed up a bit with that freed )
no crashes
very likely a audio error similar to blood 2
well thats one for the Voodoo 5500
thanks for jogging my memory !
it must look good on a radeon (big ati plug on startup screen )
