Taking that view to its consequences makes a very foolish statement. I take it "honor" goes by highly variable definition in other places - at least that would explain alot.
(I actually know that this is the case - with quite catastrophic consequences)

I think that's not the case.

Subjects that have been targetted by Information Warfare in all colors usually have a "Clear Target", the Target they've been overly and repeated pointed to by literally almost all Media existing.

I cannot fault anyone for falling victim to that, I do fault them however, for not even taking the slightest step to actually question and research to what they've been indoctrinated upon.
I know (very well) that this takes time and effort (alot!), but the begin takes the spark, the will to do so in the first place.
That spark of motivation should be within all humans (I wish) : find the truth, replace believe with evidence and knowledge...
...and have the courage to take it as is comes.

I'd rather go through possible pain and shock of discovery (red pill), rather than stay asleep and mindlessly wander along the masses (blue pill), but that's just me.

And if the discovered reality equals the apparent reality, even the better.
(but as we all know, life is a b*tch, so we know we're usually in for quite a ride - I had my ride of awakening, but I don't regret it for a split second)

I find the news being reported over the radio at work amusing- Full of polls that give no information on who is being polled, where, what questions were they being asked or indeed who was paying for the poll. etc.

Once you start looking, it's hard to miss... The problem is chaging your mindset to not accept "news" at face value. Sometimes the slanted news can tell you more information then real information if you know how to sift through and ask the right questions.

This topic is supposed to be about funny stuff - agreed that 'sometimes' political satire can be, and usually is funny...

But can we keep this thread on topic about 'funny' things and not about definitions of what "X" means and why it leads to "Y".
