3dfx dual head biosses for VMAC's? (Read 87 times)

3dfx dual head biosses for VMAC's?

Hi all

Are there 3dfx Voodoo4/5 biosses for dual head opperation for VoodooMAC 4500 and 5500 cards?

It's like that a GeForce 6800 does have dual head but windows see that as a single card but with ATi Radeons they are seen as 2 VGA cards because they have 2 Sepperate 400Mhz Ramdacs so I was thinking maybe the VMAC 4500 and 5500 would work like the GeForce 6800 GT for example if it had the right bios to do so you see?

If there is it seems very interesting to find out.

a i know Voodoo4/ 5 cards have only 1 RAMDAC
you will ahve on both screens the same picture.

the signal for the DVI comes from the RAMDAC and the SiliconMagic chip re digtali size it
