Macronix driver from archive doesn't seem to work, it is possible I have a bum card though but acts driver related.

Anyone?

95/98

Get an error when starting Turok (device driver error it states) GLquake isn't happy either, just locks up.

What error do you get in GLQuake? Not that wgl_PixelFormat thingy or whatever it is.  If it is, you may have a duff on your hands.

Probably.  Because you will get no more later drivers than that version for win9x of course.

I'll do a clean install on the backup machine and see what happens.

The auction seller worded his description with care, nothing I can complain about.

Let us know what you find.  Don't get your hopes up too high though.

Is the card being recognised?

Do you get anything on screen?

Make sure you are using the WinXP drivers from the archive.
