Okay, in case anyone here (other than me) has a PSP, it is now possible (through custom firmware - availabe at the usual news sites...) to emulate PSOne (PSX) games on your PSP. Grin

I've tested this personally and can confirm that this TOTALLY ROCKS! 8)

Anyone for playing Final Fantasy 7, or Tekken 3 or Metal Gear Solid (original ver.), Soul Reaver, Resident Evil 1 or 2 or 3, etc... Grin

Also, just to let you know that this is NOT illegal! It allows you to play games you already OWN for Playstation 1 on PSP (note - restricted to NTSC titles - so you have to 'patch' your PAL games to NTSC) Roll Eyes

The update procedure also uses legal Firmware updates from Sony as base files - so that's fully legal too!

[and for those who couldn't give a stuff, sorry - but I'm just way too exited. I can now play my collection of PSX games on my PSP - WOOT!] Grin

Currently, this feature is only accessible through a service for PlayStation 3.
