driver help and main bored?

Hi I just joined up today. i have started to put gather an old school computer to run my old Voodoo 5 5500 AGP and would like to get you opinion on what drivers to run and main bored.
right now I have:
Windows 98se
3x 128 = 348mg SD PC133
Sound blaster Live
20gig HDD
Voodoo 5 5500

I have an Intel P3 600E and a AMD K6-2 500mhz
now the Intel CPU will run at 66FSB when the AMD will run 100MHz
so I guess it is a toss up right now I am running the P3 but do u think it will be the same or faster of I run the AMD?

And it would be nice to have a copy of the CD for the voodoo 5 if some one can E-Mail it to me or send an ISO throw AIM

Reply #1 - 21.11.08 at 10:47:18 The intel P3 600E runs at 100MHz FSB and will beat the K6-2 500 any day in any config due to its far more potent FPU. You don't need the entire Voodoo5 install CD, the Driver is sufficient (and makes for a much smaller download ) unless you require the bundeled software (3Deep Colorific) for some reason.

I have been looking at drivers but there is always some thing that will not work. I didn’t even remember my old driver CD coming with any bundeled software

Reply #6 - 25.11.08 at 19:48:17 install the latest official driver frrom 3dfx ver 1.07.00,that should be optimal for your setup. unreal-make sure the game is fully patched sof/q3-you may need a standalone opengl driver such as wickedgl I would verify opengl functionality with something simple,glquake for example..
