I'm not an expert, but wouldnt it be awesome to just have an extra tab on 3dfxtools for mesaFX, it sounds nicer than a full 3dfxtools clone!

I dont have any source code.
I got the impression from some readings the 3dfx-tools stuff was designed as a modular system, for the easy addition of stuff. But i guess it was a wrong impression. |

And you ddin't get what I was saying. Understand that if people had the actual tools source, then the MESA tab would actually be incorporated with 3dfx tools.

So... NOBODY has the 3dfxtools source code?
The drivers source code was released but not the 3dfxtools source code? And if the drivers source code wasn't released its soooooooooo sad cant believe it. |

The guy with the 3dfx FTP who gave aquoes, devo and the rest of 3dfx-U/3dhq crew the 3dfx source code (back in late 2001) most likely has the 3dfx tools source code. He wants nothing to do with any of this 3dfx stuff anymore, and to top that, I'm pretty sure the FTP's down. So no go.

Not to go off subject, but has anyone heard anything from any of those guys. Used to go to their site alot (it's how I found this site), but really haven't heard anything about them lately? Just wondering. I thought they had something going before the whole thing imploded.
