Gah, I pasted the wrong link.
http://web.archive.org/web/20010302140333/http://www.overclockers.com.au/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002125.html That's better. ;-) The article is quite old, though. |

Kewl, that link works!
I'll re-post the info HERE, just in case it ever gets lost... Also (before I begin the re-post) in the thread is THIS mirror: - http://web.archive.org/web/20010302010217/www.wicked3d.com/ YES, it's a mirror of Wicked3D! (Yeah, I KNOW the link is also in the quote below!) O.K., now the re-post... Quote:
I also cleaned up the original instructions to make them more legible... EDIT: Removed the 'old' links and 'linked' to the archive instead...MUCH better! |

Ehm...
No need to go though archive.org ... All mentioned Drivers are available in the Archive (?) Also, the Link to the Archived 3dchipset.com opens a P0rn Site ::) I'd say, this "trick" won't improve performance, but will rather lead to incompatibilities. (it's not unknown that a lot of VSA-100 Drivers still work to some extend on a Voodoo3, but this is not really useful) |
