Strange V2 SLi Cable (Read 152 times)

TM30 God Member Offline Posts: 1108 Germany Gender:	Strange V2 SLi Cable 07.02.08 at 17:47:53 i have here a strange V2 SLi cable... instead of 4 twisted strands there are 7 strands twisted... I dont remember from what V2 i got that one... What do you think? It must be a production failure? I stumbled over it when i wanted to test my 4 remaining Voodoo 2 for SLi Operation... With this Cable SLi doesnt work...

Strange, ideed. I'd say that there are 4 possible explanations.

1. manufacturing error
2. that cable is not made in a factory, but by someone from a FDD cable and who made the cable made it wrong, however, by the look of the cable, it's unlikely, connectors seems to be excelent attached there
3. it's a cable for some special voodoo2, maybe some prototypes
4. it's not a V2 SLI cable, but something else

Where did you find it ?
