No 22bit postfilter with newer glide, hires and 22 (Read 177 times)

roflkopp Guest	No 22bit postfilter with newer glide, hires and 22 30.12.05 at 14:36:58 I discovered it with WickedGL + latest glide drivers (3.10.0.40404) @ 1024x768 (and above), 2xAA at the game "Heavy Metal FAKK2". Older versions like 3.10.0.658 don't seem to have this behavior... What's the reason behind this restriction?

I testet a little bit more. Quality rating (1=best)

1. old glide with 2x2 box filter (no dithering)
2. new glide, no matter what postfilter setting (very little dithering)
3. old glide with 4x1 linear filter (visible lines)
4. old glide with no postfiltering (visible dithering)

Alphablending was set to "sharper"
