overclocking tool for linux? (x64)
11.01.08 at 15:25:55
HI, I have a Voodoo 5500 PCI card I put in my computer for a while (until I get enough courage to replace a fried 6800 with something). I know Voodoo works OK, but overheats somewhat.... When I used windows I would get an overclocker and underclock the card down to about 125 MHz, and it would not overheat. I do have a 100 mm fan blowing air straight on the card, but I don't know if it will be enough to keep the card cool for an extended period of time. Does anyone know where I could get an overclocker for linux? I use Ubuntu Gutsy 64-bit.
