Voodoo2 Card

Please help!

This may sound stupid, but I've installed a Voodoo 2 card, and I have no idea if it works. I have tried playing UFO: Enemy Unknown, but it still looks really blocky. Does anyone have something for me/some way to test if it is installed/working?

It's Win98 and the drivers were on the CD supplied (CD version 1)

Ehm, this Game is a 2D Game (?).

I played it excessively back in time, and there's no 3D Accelleration required (and not possible, since it's using 2D Isometrics for display).

Unless some "3D Patch" turned up for it, I think the Voodoo2 will certainly not be used Wink

Hm, the Voodoo2 3dfx spash screen (as far as I remember) will only turn up when a) enabled in 3dfx Tools and b) Glide is initiating.

Not sure about OpenGL (I don't think), certainly not under Direct3D.

To check that the Voodoo2 works fine, simply use a Benchmark (even 3D Murks will do), that allows to select the Secondary Adapter, if your primary one is 3D capable as well.

Or (worst case) try the DirectX DXdiag tool. Better than nothing, and it'll have a Cube spinning Smiley
