I think Gary may have inquired into a Mercury upgrade to a AA 5 but it was too expensive. I don't think they're still for sale new but the have stock for upgrade and RMA for repair.

Anyone want to try to get a "Black" brick repaired Kiss

My guess would be the Green ones would cost more, 125MHz memory vs. 100MHz on the Blacks.

The Black ones look cool to me 8) I like the look of the 4 heatsinks vs. the one long one (looks like a V6K). Plus most of Q3D cards are Black "Obsidian".

The nice thing about the green ones in addition to the faster memory is that they have heatsinks on the 3Dfx chipsets on the rear of the card. A long one similar to the one on the front.
