hmm rather odd, I thought that the SLI Voodoo Graphics was a prototype from 3Dfx Interactive it's self, that set you have there is possibly the production model or am I a little off track here Gary?

I think he means the cream coloured connector which is placed top-right of the fan connector, looks like a primmative I-O connector to me.

The Force is Stong in you Jedi Master Gary
Lot's of Glory on your side
I suppose that this is only a beginning 8)
does the Vel100 Proto opperate like the Vel200 Proto there by it has 2 TMU's or does it have 1 TMU like it's production model? imho I always have thought that the Vel200 like Vel100 should of had 1 TMU, but for the prototypes 3dfx uused 2 intead of one just for better stabillity purposes, any idea on this theory?

I asked different manufacturers a few times about some strange connectors on their products and typical (90%) reply was - "this is used for internal testing". The same connector as on I-O Data Banshee is placed on Gainward GFFX5900 and some other NV3x cards and was used as stated above

hmm what can be understanded by Internal testing, because attaching a monitor cable internally would be alittle trick wouldn't it?
Sorry on this behalf, but that's a little new to me lol.
