ok now I have that v4 4500 and I have this kind of rig for it:
mobo; asus p2b-vm
cpu: P III 550MHz slot1
mem: 3x128SDRAM PC100

I was thinkin which os would it be better win 2k or 98 non se(can I aquire it some where free? got qenuine 98)
since I got a small HDD for now 3.2GB :-[ (finding a bigger one) Iwas thinking Puppy Linux. do you have experience 3dfx & glide games with linux

win2000 is good,but I would recommend win98SE in case you would choose the 9x path.as for linux,drivers are decent,it would seem.they dont support SLI,but that wont be bothering you (v4)..

I think I'll test Linux. since I cant aquire 98SE and Im willing ot test Linux.
I was thinkin.. V4 was AGP 1.5V right so it is compatible with my 775Dual-Vsta(it is able to quad screen)?
If I only could find a 15" tft...

it should run,but additional tweaks may be needed.probably running the card in pci mode (degrades performance by 3-5%)..
