Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum, came here advised by Obi-Wan, met him on a dutch site.

As you might guess, I also am a 3DFX fan, have a few of the cards and just can't seem to let go of this great piece of history.

Been reading on the forums since about 4hrs ago, never dreamt about so much 3dfx info in 1 site.

I knew there was ofcourse, like 3dfxzone.it, but never knew about this site.

My collection so far is:

2 Voodoo2's 12MB on SLI (will post details later)
1 Voodoo4 4500 32MB AGP (will come in by mail today or tommorrow)
1 Voodoo3 3500TV 16MB AGP (will also come in mail one of these days)
1 Voodoo5 5500 64MB AGP

As soon as I get the 2 ordered cards, I'll post pcb revisions and dates so I can find out if there's something special about them or just ordinary.

Anyways, glad to be on the board and hope to get much more info about 3DFX.

Welcome Ultima to the Official 3dfx archive from Falconfly

Feel free to take a good look around, if there is anything just post away and ask or tell it!

BTW you could of posted this topic in the General section since the This & That area is for non 3dfx sessions as non 3dfx subjects Wink

for 3dfx collections they can be posted over here :

Didn't know for sure in which section to post it, so...

Will do lotsa reading, received the 4500 today, have to pick it up at my nieghbors place, so....maybe I'll post my 1st pics for try out.

Gonna have to edit my signature tho, turns out my voodoo2's are not monster 3DII's, but some other brand, dunno which one.

Used to have Diamond voodoo2's, hence the mixup. LOL

My testrig for voodoo cards is the following:

Celeron 1.3Ghz
256Mb 133Mhz sdram
Maxtor 20Gb ata66 7200rpm
Normally a TnT2 Vanta 16MB
and 2 Voodoo 2's on SLI

Running Windows98SE with unofficial SP.

Using Amigamerlin 2.9 drivers for the voodoo2's
