Regular Voodoo 3 2000 in Rush 2049 cabinet?

just curious...when i see pictures of the 3DFX card used for the Rush 2049 game, it actually use a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI. The only visible difference is it doesn't seem to have a bracket on it.

Is it possible to use a regular Voodoo 3 2000 PCI for this arcade game? or there's a special firmware in it that only specific cards can be used with it?

There's an auction on Ebay selling the card in question, supposedly made for this game: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RUSH-2049-video-card-pcb-ARCADE-GAME-PCB-board-part-C1m-... So this is why i've been wondering about this.

I don't think there is any special BIOS or anything on those... I've seen a few around. (I've had my eyes open for a 2049 sit down after getting my Rush the Rock Alcatraz Edition driver)

Reply #4 - 29.07.13 at 05:56:10 so you could just slap in a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI and it'll work? I wonder if a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI will still work, maybe better framerate in-game? hehe.
