A Yakumo Voodoo1 card?
09.11.14 at 17:24:24

hey guys,

I have come across a voodoo1 from Yakumo, brownish pcb, and a sticker with "Venus 3D Voodoo Graphics Addon" on it.

Is this a rare card? what would be a good price for it?? Just card / cable.

thx for any info

Probably identical to a Biostar Voodoo card. I have a Biostar Venus 3D Voodoo Rush which looks identical (and has corresponding numbers) to a Yakumo Voodoo Rush.

Yakumo sticker but exactly the same board as the Biostar Venus3D. The sticker near the PCI-connector on the backside of the card starts with VF01, which is also the case with a Biostar Venus3D.

I'm not sure what the relationship is (if any) between Yakumo and Biostar but they seem to share the same board for at least their Voodoo Graphics and Voodoo Rush cards.

Biostar is the manufacturer of the card, Yakumo a reseller.

That's right, same thing between Trust (reseller) and Skywell (manufacturer), just another example.
