Well, since no Names are published, it's always possible the Seller used Fake accounts or a buddy to drive the Price up.
I never trust anonymous Aucitons, where you never know who is bidding, that opens all the doors to fraud.

you mean the term called shill bidding?
well fact is, the are willing to bid to such a high price
unless only if ebay does justice.
most of the time, it is almost impossible to tell if the bid is genuine or not. Since the winning bidder is willing to pay such a high price. Its relative in that sense.
I'd say, a big factor for the price hike is that it is a brand new item ? sealed in other words.

That's way too much for a standard V5 5500 PCI even if it is Brand New.

Item as described and in perfect working condition! Was a real tight fit in the van though!
In the pictures you can see a regular WD hard drive which stores the game data (I better back that sucker up ASAP, I don't trust WD hard drives as far as I can throw them.
Blitz 2000 PCB is an Atari Vegas model (or should be, I have not checked yet) and you can see where all the wiring plugs in through the blue JAMMA connector except for the board power and ground and the IDE cable to the hard drive.
