the bug in your site why images does't appear on some browsers is that path to images contains character "\" which is used in windows paths. IE somehow translates "\" to "/", but others does not.
for example:
http://xn--grsten-jua.se/3dfx/images\all1.jpg (incorrect)
http://xn--grsten-jua.se/3dfx/images/all1.jpg (correct)

Yeah - I saw that and I will change it later someday Smiley

Oh Yes! Last night while working I enjoyed watching the test computer looping GLQuake 1024 x 768 at 8x AA.

The old game never looked so good Wink

Played with motion blur Q3 as well, was a rather interesting effect!

...

Along with this little jewel-

...

1 of 8 made, it has 16 megs of ram located in the PCB UNDER the V3 chip! A retail 2000 is shown below to get an idea of the size difference.

In a way I'm more excited about the V3 card, while having the 6k finally is nice and all there seems to be no shortage of them about, know what I mean? If you want one bad enough all you have to do is wait for one to show up on ebay and throw more cash down then the other guy. Since I have plenty of cash at the moment due selling off extras from my 20 year collection of car parts on ebay, getting a v6k wasn't that challenging.

After all they did make over a thousand or so V6k's, compared to the eight of the little V3 card shown  Grin

Not putting down the v6k... you won't be able to pry it out of my fingers for any amount of money... I just enjoy the challenge of the chase and finding the cards as much as owning these pieces of history.

Lady luck tapped me on the shoulder this week, perhaps next week will be your turn, beware though she is a fickle one Wink

But do they work also like any other V3 2K?

Never knew that there was a proto of the V3 2K, though what I want to know is, what Revision is it and what is it's Week/Year number of the PCB?

At first I though you had Osckhar! hehe I hope I didnt surprise you there. How is it go'n with your V5 6K? Do you allready have it fixxed? Sorry I ask, I havent heard from you in a long time.

Anyway my 29th card is this one:

3dfx Voodoo3 3000 PCI 16MB SGRAM RevD 0700..

...

that's the type I recieved wednesday August 12 2004, the funny thing is it does not even look like a normal Voodoo3 3000 PCI. It looks moor like the PCB of a Velocity 200 16MB.  I also see that it is possible to ad memory to the board for a total of 32MB! that for a V3 , would be nice.  Tongue

Friendly Regards

Ben Kenobi.

Seemed to, and the drivers worked with no problems.

I didn't benchmark the card to see if there was a performace difference but it seemed to running as fast as any other V3-2000.

I have an Alpha and Beta board also in my collection, I'm sure there are other unique V3 boards about.

This was done just to see how small the PCB could be made since it makes up a good percent of the cards expence.

26-99 is the date, 600-0076-01 is the PCB board number.

Some confusion- I'm not Oscar and my V6k works fine.

Looks like a SGRAM V3-3000, might be a Compaq computer part as that looks like their barcode on the righthand side.

The V3 has some hardware limitation, 16 megs of ram is all that can be accessed, that's why 3dfx never made a 32 meg version.

Sorry about the confusion, Oshckar once sent his V56K to Hanc Semanic for repairs, I was wondering if Oshckar still had it, as I do see it on his site but not in his collection list.

the V56K here in Holland is getting a new PC. My good ol friend Omega_Supreme, hehe the owner of the V56K  Grin, is building a new place for it.

Dual AMD AthlonMP 2800+
MSI K7D Master REV 1.1 red PCB , AMD AM760 MPX
3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB RevA 3700
lian-li pc75.

http://data.forumhoster.com/forum_turkforce/index.php?s=1a9367f32babd21cfd3a39e2...

I wonder what PSU would be powerfull enough for his Dual MP 2800+ with that V56K in it? Anyone any idea's?

I was thinking of an Antec True Power 550 EPS12V. I use it in my Dual MP 2200+ with ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, works fine, or does the V56K use more power than a 9700 Pro?

Alas I'm filled with sadness as the number will be less then that when my 27 extra cards are sold off, only a very few will be offset by trades.

I'll have to double my efforts in obtaining cards I don't own yet to get the number back up and I do have 7 new cards in route!  Wink

Winfast S310 Banshee from Taiwan
Biostar Voodoo I from Taiwan
Techworks V2 boxed from UK
Voodoo Dragon Banshee new PCI boxed from UK
Powercolor Evil Queen Banshee loose from Germany
Voodoomania Voodoo I boxed from Germany
Quantum3d Obsidian SB50-4220 new oem from Germany

Would it not be sweet to see all 600 items on display?

It is very much a pleasure to see everyones cards listed in one spot... and to see the spirit of 3dfx still alive and well.

Holy crap, 6OO 3dfx Items Cheesy

I'll try to see, if I can make a "group Photo" of my entire Collections (3dfx and non-3dfx). Maybe I'm insane enough to try to get it all in one united Image after that *g*

(mind you, I have a curious cat as well Grin )

I can see it now.... FalconFly preparing all the cards to get them all in one photo!  The only way I can see it though is if you rent out one of those F-4's for the day and take an aerial photo shot of all the cards laid out in your garden.  Grin
