Thanks guys. I also like the looks of it very much, but don't know if it works since I don't own a Mac system.

Some of us 3dfx collectors need to get a Mac system. I know I've seen PC to Mac flashing tools and other toys for the Mac.
Might be a useful machine. I also want to pick up one for learning the Mac OS for troubleshooting purposes.

I know what you mean and I agree it would be useful since I have several MAC only video cards in my collection that I'm uncertain if they work properly. For me testing them, playing some of my favorite classic games is half the fun. The problem in my case is that in my neck of the woods Mac systems have only recently started to become popular and the old models like a G3 that would be perfect for this task, aren't to be found and from abroad it would be too expensive on the shipping side I recon.
For now it only looks nice in my display case

You could ofcourse buy a G3 motherboard/processor/ram and just forget about the case, and use it as a open air test platform.

That could work but I do like to have everything enclosed in a case to just put it to work when I need it not just for some quick tests. But this hasn't been a priority for me so I haven't searched much for Mac parts to build a test rig.
Since we're on the Mac and pictures topic here are the same Paloma and Pablo modules on a different VillageTronic card the MP850 thou I liked them better on the MP540 what do you guys think?

It's a bit embarrassing, but I've never actually read up on the Mac configurations. I know the 540 is a non 3dfx Cirrus Logic 2D board, with the original Voodoo as an 3D overdrive piggy-back board.
What are the Pablo & MacPaloma Plus? I gather the MacPaloma is a TV-Tuner? What's the Pablo? MPEG acceleration chip?
Must be pretty rare then Gino? It does look very very awesome indeed.

Both cards look great! It almost gives me the itch to collect 3dfx Mac cards.
