I get it - so if it's an AMD "branded" system...then they will have AMD on the GFX. But normally it's still ATI on GFX cards that are NOT in an AMD "branded" system. Well at least they're making it nice and simple to distinguish... LOL!

Anyways I'm happy that my Beautifull Sapphire ATi Radeon X1900 XTX has the cool ATi logo's in it's self as the boxart too Tongue

The X1900 XTX might stay here as being one of the last pure ATi Graphics cards, the card it's self is nice also especially it's cool Red PCB

If you look carefully on pic 2 you can see that Sapphire putt a sticker of thier brand over the original ATi sticker LoL Lips Sealed

My X1900 XTX is a Rev.A 0552 Revision A, year 2005 week 52

AMD wants it to be an AMD system. Pure AMD, no ATi. After all an AMD chipset is an AMD chipset. Seems logical to me.

Since 1985 ATi used the ATi name for their graphic cards. The name ATi is still used these days and will be used in the future. Seems logical.

exactly totally agree there many rumors may seem real but thier evidence will only count if they are seen like that in the retail stores, in this case seeing is believing ya know Wink

@ Gary you mean this picture right? :

All I can say about that one is, it's a nice PhotoShop ala fotosoep and nothing more Wink

Just a vision from somebody, but norries this will not happen, cards from ATi will just keep thier retail & OEM brandnames with nice big ATI logo's onthem like my Sapphire ATi Radeon X1900XTX for example:
