I'm not sure, but I don't think FastVoodoo2 Drivers possess full Quantum X24 support.
Using 'normal' or tweaked Voodoo2 Reference Drivers will only get 'that far', expect such or similar errors when not using the specialized Quantum Drivers. Procerus might be the best guy to talk to, and IMHO mix & matching the Drivers is the only way to go (at least that's what I heard X24 owners doing to reach maximum outcome). |

Under Windows 98 I use 3dfx reference drivers (3.02.02) with the registry fix for any colour corruption. Under Windows XP I am now using FastVoodoo2 4.0 GE drivers with great success. Anthony's Q3D driver failed for some reason when I upgraded my system from P3 600 to P4c 2.4. :(
What you lose by not using Quantum3D's drivers is the neat display properties control panel/test app and the use of the TV out. I would use the Q3D drivers under Windows 98 except that they don't work with WickedGL and also don't work with Tempest's Wicked3D Voodoo2 Control Panel which is essential for me since I like to be able to play some games (Red Baron 3D, Longbow2 and Need for Speed 3 for starters) with stereo glasses using the Metabyte wrapper! |

Hm, since he's already using FastVoodoo2 V4.0 on Win2k, it still seems to fail then...
Tried using older Voodoo2 Win2k/WinXP Drivers ? The previous FastVoodoo2 Versions seemed very successful as well. FastVoodoo2 XP (or Win2000) V2.0, V2.5, V3.0 and V3.5 are all available in the Archive for testing :) |

Well, yes, that is the Driver.
All FastVoodoo2 Win2k/XP Drivers should work to some extend on your Quantum X24. Try all of them after another, beginning with the latest one (V4.0). |

PS.
