ok i got a voodoo 4 4500 for my f16 multirole fighter game and i cant get the stupid 3d shit to work, so i installed amiga merlin cuz i have xp, and blah blah i go into game and it says 3d accelaration enabled but when i start it nothing no 3d. so i installed another driver over it the win2k voodo 4/5 driver, and when i start game it just crashes my pc. any help please  ???

It seems F-16 Multirole Fighter has some trouble working correctly sometimes.

Look at this Thread, where a Voodoo3 had similar Problems :

Unfortunately, not fully resolved it seems, but it contains alot of (maybe) useful Troubleshooting Options already laid out.

hola. i use a voodoo4 for linux. in the X server the driver [tdfx] seems to run perfectly, bur direct rendering is not enabled when i run glxinfo.
glxgears, guake(gl), ... runs very very very slow because direct rendering does not activate correctly.
the thing is that in the X logs shows that the direct rendering is enabled, but uses mesa glx indirect.
im crazy because one time i got direct rendering: GL apps ran perfectly! but today i cant play quake :(

anyone has this trouble?
if any has vsa-100 running on linux should have hardware support
