heh found a leak to Half Life3 pics and heh man never sene such exellent graphics damn!
http://forum.clan-beware.nl/lofiversion/index.php/t2261.html
if these pics are real from Valves new HalfLife3 engine orsay Source2 engine, heh damn let's hope our exsisting DX9.0c cards can pull through it, and hope that our Voodoo5 cards can make it run as well, if it's build on a DX7 core like the source 1 engine was hehe
even if it's built on a DX8 core it will be possible on a V5, our 6000's might make more advantage for speed on that part

yeah hehe forgot to mention that, but if you look on how HalfLife2 Lost Coast looks liek with HDR & FSAA combined it really can get close to that hehe, must say that Lost Coast & HalfLife2 Episode One aka Aftermath looks fantastic on the X1900 XTX with FSAA x6 AF x16 and MAX HDR effects combined

LOL I'm still trying to translate the whole thing. Yeah pics look good and what not, but you can't tell me that, that's not what is going to show up in games soon. At least not on the high end of things. At any rate, if it's not now, it'll be like that in another two to three years. DX10 will be out and game developers will have three years+ of making games with the DX10 spec by then.

Looks like early render studies because the lighting is all wrong (?)

yeah by the looks of the lighting hehe yeah you got a point there, but still HL3 still may look alot like this, since HL2 looked quite amazing at first sight with HDR inplented.

I tought that HL3 was replaced by those expansion packs for HL2 like Lost Coast
Well I know that valve never close down their biggest money-maker-game
