need to find a driver that will let me run a voodoo3 card on win98 that directx9 will recgonise

cant play everquest now that u need dirx9

For all I know, no 3dfx Driver has inherent Problems with DirectX 9.0b installed.

But of course, that is only valid until specific DirectX9-Functions are called, which the 3dfx Cards don't support, and the DirectX API has no Software Rasterizer to fallback to...

If Everquest needs DX9 Features, you're out of luck, although  you could try your luck with 3D Analyzer.

Also note that the Voodoo3 only offers 16bit, max. 256x256 Textures, only 16MB Video RAM and eventually, no Texture Compression. That's quite a showstopper for alot of modern Games Undecided

From what I understand, you're out of luck, the latest version of eq won't run on any voodoo, you'll need a new video card  Sad
