won' t run  Sad
(under xp, sp1, dx 9.0b)

after starting the game - surprise - a bluesreen with the info: problem ...blablabla... in 3dfxvs.dll . then i have to restart.

age of wonder - shadow magic is a 2d-game!!!

any solutions?

yes, game version is 1.3 !

Turn off Direct3D in aowSMSetup.exe.
-Turn off DirectSound in aowSMSetup.exe.
-Turn off Resolution Switches in aowSMSetup.exe.
-Switch the desktop to 16-bit color.

no other problems in (older Wink ) games or programs. and it's not the first time i use the 3.0

and i don't want to try the AmigaMerlin 2.5SE for XP -  i don't like to use various graphic-drivers for various games.

driverswitching is full of problems!   Tongue
