Resolution: See Step 2 of the "Fresh Installation" instructions. Known Issues 1) Occasionally, when exiting Unreal, you come back to a black screen. Your system has not crashed. (Workaround: Move the mouse around and click to regain the desktop back again. To gain all colors back, right click on the desktop to and select "Properties". Select the Tab for "Settings". Change from your current display resolution to some other resolution, then click back on your setting and hit "Apply". For example: I am running at 800x600, I slide the bar to 640x480, then I slide the bar back to 800x600 and click "Apply".). 2) When playing Quake/Quake2 changing resolutions after you've begun the game may result in a crash, with the following error message, "Server was Killed" (Workaround: Do not attempt to change resolutions, once you've begun playing the game).
