Hello,

Back from holidays.
I've got a deal for my 14th V5k6 card.
Here is the second virgin card. It comes with bios 1.18 and even is more rare than first 6k virgin.
This card is a jewell!

Quake 3 - 8xFSAA ok
3DMark2001SE - 8xFSAA ok

Without Hank Rework

Waiting to recieve it now... more pictures in september...

This card is the best one I own because it works 8xFSAA without hank's reworks.

My first virgin card needs hanks reworks to work 8xfsaa.

Anyway, we talk about virgin card when is not necessary hanks reworks. it comes C15/C17, 8 holes comes full the soldering paste...

History about the card:

The seller purchased it on ebay very years ago and the card was sold for a 3dfx software engineer that he used the test card.

This card is 'virgin' card.
If lack some component for me continues being a 'virgin' and rare card.

It's not only missing the two diodes, but also two solder pads have been sealed. So it's a modified card after all and it does not have the state how it came from production.

It's a good that the card does not need Hank's rework, but does it make the card that more rare than a common rev3700? The card doesn't even tell a real story, 'cause it does not have an e-tag and no special reworks. In my opinion it's a normal rev3700. Sure a great Voodoo 5 6000 (like all of them) but nothing special compared to some others you've got.
