I've the impression that the discussion took already the point and I think is already over, so whatever reply I would give you would be useless for you.
The demand and offer law is a real concept of which many here have abused and behind which many have hidden themselves. With this assumption any ridiculous price could be legitimate, so any discussion on the matter simply doesn't make any sense, although nobody is willing to admit that any ridiculous price means really any, so who say that a thing doesn't worth anything is quite right as much as who say it worths any cost, so what's the point? None - again, pursuing the reason in such discussions is stupid.
About the trite, never dying and boring question on
how much do you think it's worth a V5 6000 I can't reply to this anymore, simply because this forum has already plenty of answers about questions like that. If you really care, use the search tab and you'll find a lot about the matter, mine answers as well, since these questions have been discussed already so many times that I can't enumerate.
Quote:But this is the first V5 5500 PCI with black DVI.
Oh, for me isn't. I saw already several of these VoodooMAC 5500 for reviewers with black DVI connecor (except for those protoboards of course), although this is the first one with the box and that, as already I said, it's a nice thing. Is it enough to stick a 1500 USD price tag on it? Sorry, it's not.
End of the line for me
