BTW you can choose the young Obi-Wan Kenobi from Episode I:The Phantom Menace and the Older Ben Kenobi from Episode IV: A New Hope hehe that's the one I chose, the same Ben Kenobi as the one in my sig 8)

LOL - but I didn't know that the 'original' Obi-Wan was also with the skin...whatever! Roll Eyes

The only bad thing is that it's REALLY high poly count...so it might cause slowdowns on my Voodoo 2 SLI setup... Cry

@Obi_Wan - we can have a test session a few minutes early on Saturday to check out the framerate on my V2 SLI setup... Wink

...iof it's too slow, then I will play on my Radeon (server) machine instead. Cheesy

All I can find is the model from EP.II and not EP.IV that has the beard... How do you select the one with the beard in U.T.? ???

hmm there are 2 sellections that need to be done

first you sellect Obi-Wan Kenobi skin and then somewhere in soldier type tab you can sellect Obi-Wan Kenobi or OLD Obi-Wan

just look in every tab when you sellect the Obi-Wan Figure, can't really explain how since explaining things is my weakest point, I kow how to but to explain it in words, aren't my profession sorry Lips Sealed

For those of you who were getting some LAG whilst in my server - this 'should' be fixed now... Wink

...this was because my 3Dfx rig uses a wireless card. Roll Eyes

I had bought it second hand off eBay (as usual) - but what I didn't know was that it was BROKEN!!! Shocked

I checked the PCB of the wireless card and it was missing a capacitor (had gotten knocked off...) Tongue

So I replaced it and - WOWZAH! Grin

Signal strength EXCELLENT 54MBps - all of the time now! 8)

(so if you get LAG from now on, it's not my fault!) Wink

but anyways I might not be there this Saturday Paul, since I'm going to my 31 year old computer club

we play F.E.A.R. Combat 1.08 & Call of Duty2 1.3 mainly.

But I will see if I can find a gap and join you while I'm there and hopefully my computerclub friends will join as well

My 3Dfx 'rig' is getting a HUGE overhaul next week (depends on when all of the new parts arrive). Roll Eyes

hi all just got back, well I kinda made UT GOTYE 1999 relived today after 7 years no play

and everybody used their GeForce 6800's as Radeon X1900, X800's and I was the only with the 3dfx pride Grin

3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 PCI Macintosh 64MB Rev.A1 3100 in 3dfx Glide API w00t, and they all asked my why does UT 1999 look better on my Voodoo hahah I loved that when they asked me that, I told them that 3dfx is superior to all new gen cards in this game, since it was designed for 3dfx Glide API

OpenGL as D3D looked ugly compared to 3dfx Glide.

the X2 4400+ system gave the 5500 PCI macintosh some great speed advantages, UT GOTYE 1999 ran fluid @ 1280 x 1024 x 16 in Glide API with FSAA x2 & LOD Bias @ -4, I had an average 47 frames per sec

I started the game in 98SE compabillity mode, otherwise the 5500 has problems with the X2 4400+ CPU, dualcore doesn't like UT GOTYE 1999 either on NV as ATi newgen cards either.

3dfx just rulezz all teh way man Grin

@everyone else - I left a clue in a VERY old forum thread as to what I'm going to do when I upgrade my 3Dfx rig... Wink
