my new friend:

...

Intergraph Intense3D Wildcat 4110
136mbyte RAM, 256bit

(I test it 1 days ago, but it seems, this card has much worser drivers, than the s3 cards. This card is a CAD card.)

Yes, the HEIDI (autodesk's program-specific render API, used in 3d studio max, designed to CAD works) is also supported on the card.

And another strange thing: The driver does not provide the gl_arb_multitexture extension. So no multitexturing available under opengl, but the glview says:

GL_ARB_multitexture was not found, but is available in driver version 06.05.06.18

and with a few extensions, the same situation. I installed the 06.05.06.18, but the result is the same - no extensions. I will try to install windows 2000, and try the drivers, i hope, it will resolve the problems of the card.

Nor is there going to be... Undecided

The entire Wildcat series has been discontinued. Tongue

Only the Wildcat Realizm (very LAST cards) support SM 2.0 D3D acceleration. Wink

Dear Customer,

the card only has OpenGL hardware acceleration. It was designed for use
with professional CAD and DCC applications.

ok, so transalate this mail from english to english:

Quote:
Dear Customer, we wasnt able to write directdraw/direct3d drivers for this product, and even without them, peoples are buyd this 4000$ priced card. We dont even writed multitexture support - remember, they buyd it. Pepoles are beliving, that a professional card dont need drivers. Check other creative products, like the audigy/x-fi series. They even dont has vista drivers, becouse or motto: the professional hardware dont need any kind of drivers.

Cheesy
