Where exactly in California did dis happen?

One of worst types I ever whitnessed was the Copperhead, Blue Bellied Black Snake aka Spotted Black Snake, Red Stripped Snake and the Dugite.

The Australian Copperhead was in the back yard when I came accross it when dad and I went to the chicken yard, dad said don't move so was like yeah, right  I ran like hell I did and dad called a Ranger and the Ranger cought it in a sort of bag and brought it 50Kays from the spot we were yaay I was like we might see Mr Copperhead back some day but no it stayed away.

The Spotted or  Blue-bellied Black Snake [Pseudechis Guttatus] was also a close encounter in Queensland, it got trapped in the slide door of my old room


It was rather funny to encounter, since I didn't know how dangerous that species was, it's related to the Red Bellied Black Snake, though they both have the same look, only the belly is Blue-Grey and not red, it's venom is neurotoxic, haemotoxic, cytotoxic; bites not known to have caused human fatalities, though it's potentially dangerous; apply first aid and seek urgent medical attention for all suspected bites.

The Red Naped Snake [Furina Diadema] was a small one only measuring 40 cm in length.

it was slithering along the side rim of the house in Red Bank Plains Queensland, it was known poisonous to young children and it's an agressive species, so my dad PWNed it by getting a spade and chopping it's head off, I said dad don't kill the poor bugga call the ranger, he said oh yeah, too late know, I was liek how obvoius

The Dugite [Pseudonaja affinis]was also a close encounter it was encounterend in the Tin shed in Bunbury 6000 kays to the west


It was located in the shed, I ran to my parremts like say's these a snake in the bloody shed! dad went to have a look and he said yeah there sure is so he went to ask the neighbouman he was a Police Officer and he said that's a deadly bugga a Dugite gotta keep clear of that thing everyone I'll call the ranger, well the ranger came got his spade and rammed the right front corner of the shed and then under it, it was a way of scaring it away, and that did work, though killing it would of been a better sperpectives since these are extremely deadly in the Western Australia State.

..the only venomous snake around here (I'll exlude all our politicians this time) is the Common Viper:



it wont attack unless really provoked (it hates to waste its venom on something it cant eat,sheesh,even snakes are cheap around here),its venom is not too potent either (but it can kill a child or a weak person).the rest of the snakes are not venomous..

I'm surprised that you found a snake so early in the year. I don't usually see them yet as they are cold blooded animals and it's still it bit cool outside. I have seen a few lizards but they are moving very slow out on the back porch.

Must have given you a bit of a scare at first as the rattle snakes your used to seeing in San Diego are quite poisonous.

heh, did you call the ranger to take care of it too BFG3dfx? or did you remove the animal it's self?
