here's the card what it's all about:
the normal way to flash it would be via dos mode under win98SE or under DOS with the 3dfx flash utillity right
with the VMAC 5500 Prototype the flash worked out fine by using the following:
flash.exe pci_dvi.bin [enter]
then follow the screen as it proceeds.
did the same with this production card but then I get this as the following message:
There is no build information for the sellected hardwareso I used the PCI.exe program and I could read the
121h line with
[Unassigned] behind it as well, but what that means, I don't know of, only if that the card is defect or it isn't ?
The card is a Rev.A1 3100 and what must i do now
try another bios if there is another PC bios for this card?
