@goriath - excellent information; thorough and comprehensive.  Just what I needed.  Many thanks for going to the trouble of collecting that.

@exxe - very good point.  I also did not consider the Asian products.  Good thinking.

Yes, yes - welcome indeed! Wink

Nice to see more 3Dfx ladies around the forums... Cool

As to scanning boxes - well guys, it's "possible" with a normal scanner...but it's tricky as they're bigger than A4... Undecided

Basically, you'd have to do it in sections and re-assemble them... Roll Eyes

Thanks guys, it's nice to be here.  Smiley  I hope I get the chance to get to speak to you all.

I would prefer to scan the boxes one side at a time.  For example, if the box is condensed flat forwards, it can be pressed into a scanner and scan the front, top, left/right, with out any damage. then flip it over and scan the back, bottom, right/left (or vice versa  Roll Eyes ).  I hope that makes sense.  Wink

Hej,

I'm currently still working on my art project at uni and am still loking for more 3dfx artwork, box art, poster art, any 3dfx art.  If you can help me, please upload it and tell me about it.  I still need a lot of resources so anything you can upload will be helpful.  I'm looking for marketing, commercial material, like described above.

Dzięki.  Smiley

Hej,

I received some 3Dfx boxes recently but one had very, very sticky stickers on it.  I managed to pull them off the box but it has left some very sticky (but clear) residue on the front of the box.  My fingers stick to it every time I touch it.

Is there a safe way to remove this, without damaging the box?

Dzeki.

Rub over it with your fingers or a piece of cloth. That should get most of it off.

I've also tried dampening an abrasive pad and rubbing that over it. That worked a bit better.

(just a little bit of water though, you don't want so much water that it'll damage the box)
