well im pretty happy tonight, after not being able to get my bf1942 demo to be able to do anything but make my desktop flicker i decided to try call of duty demo, well it works, it looks so good too, only thing is i have to keep everything on lowest setting cause of an error i get ---rb_endsurface()-shader_max_vertexes hit -- if i try to turn any graphics up i get it, if theres a way around it let me know please, if not the game looks great Grin

Posts: 317 Gender:	Re: call of duty demo Reply #1 - 02.02.04 at 10:38:18 well, some bf1942 revisions have problems with directx9..check new patch. looks like a hardware t&l problem you got in cod..i bet you use mesafx..? try the newest rev, too. >>adding<< er, also check the other cod-demo threat, maybe that'll help

VDX Ex Member	Re: call of duty demo Reply #3 - 06.03.04 at 08:12:21 well im o/ced on my system and i have the latest mesa downloaded, all i can say is ive been playing multi player for about 1 hour and it runs very very good, is there a way to turn on a fps in this game? i think im running in the 30 range maybe alittle higher.

Posts: 317 Gender:	Re: call of duty demo Reply #4 - 06.03.04 at 14:41:28 start game with this parameter: " +set monkeytoy 0 +set sv_cheats 1" press "~" while in game type "cmdlist" and you'll get a list of all commands, don't know the fps counter command, maybe you'll find it. btw, why don't you use fraps?
