My student days are over (yeeey!) and in roughly a month from now, I'm gonna have to move from dorm to an apartment in some other city. So I have a bunch of retro stuff that will be too bothersome to carry, so I figure, someone may find some use for it:

0. 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 AGP. My precious. It was working very nicely throughout my studies here, but I dont need it anymore since I already have one waiting for me back home. I've added custom cooling to it - the thread with pics is here somewhere on forum :-) MP - 20e  Sold - MP, vetz

1. Cheap rig 1: Mainboard Abit KT7-A (KT133A chipset, disputably the best board with ISA slot), with AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4 Ghz (fsb 133), tested up to 1.56Ghz and 2x256MB PC133 Infineon SDRAM (7ns, CAS2) edit: found a cooler to include for this too MP 15e sold (privately)

2. Pro rig 2: Mainboard Abit KT7-A raid V1.3 with AMD Athlon XP-M (barton) (fsb 133) that works from 600Mhz -2.2Ghz, with Thermaltake edit: Big Typhoon cooler. (select your RAM from list below) MP 30e (I'm keeping this one)

3. Real retro rig: AMD K6-III @580Mhz with Asus P5A and 256MB PC133 Infineon, some random full copper cooler to keep it cool Edit: please note that the plastic clips holding the ram have fallen off the maiboard - RAM however, stays in place even without them, check pics- MP 15e ATM 15e Varus sold privately

4. 1GB PC133 ECC-SDRAM Infineon (on above mainboards works only in PC100 mode - edit I found out why: its CL3 not CL2!) - used only once, for testing and proving a point (that abit KT7a max memory is not 1.5gb, but 3gb) - MP 10e
4.b - I found 2x512MB ECC Reg (CL2) ram too; I totally forgot about them. MP for both 10e. sold privately

5. 3x 512MB PC133 SDRAM Infineon, 7ns (CAS2); on above mainboards overclocks (all 3 together) up to 145Mhz CAS2. MP 5e each, 13e altogether Sold privately

6. Creative Sound Blaster AWE32 CT3980 ISA (has genuine yamaha OPL3) with 2x16MB SIMM RAM and Yamaha DB50XG Wavetable Daughterboard.  MP 50e Sold privately

7. Creative Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold ISA with Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 external midi module with its original power adapter and all the needed cables. MP 75e  ATM 75e from RaverX Sold privately

8. A box full of simm ram, untested and ranging from 1mb to, well, I dont actually know; I bought those to test the AWE32 back in the day. edit: i found some EDO ram too and i think a stick of 64mb SDRAM, untested! MP 1 euro cent  :P Went to vetz along with the v5

Edit: three more things:
9. CPU Pentium M ULV 1.4Ghz - mint condition (i removed it from my old laptop and inserted a faster, 2.0Ghz)  MP 5e sold privately

10.  512MB SO-DIMM DDR2, removed from Asus eeepc MP 2e Sold privately

11. 2x16MB SIMM RAM (I just found out I had 64 mb in total), same ones that are fitted in AWE32. MP 15e going to Ebay

Please note: I will keep one rig for me, so if any 2 rigs find owners, the auction for the 3rd rig is over. The same goes for the sound subsystem (items listed under 6 and 7) - I will keep one of them.

Also, if you need a video card for any of the systems above, I will throw in a random junk card that I have available at no additional cost (I think I got PCI or AGP ELSA Winner-something 8mb and some Diamond -something card also 8mb and matrox-something card too)

Keep in mind that MP are given excluding shipping costs. Since this is the first time that I am selling anything online, I will only go for insured shipping with DHL and tracking, no cheap insecure alternatives. Paypal preferred. I can make photos of any of the given components if wished for.

The sale is only happening here. If nothing happens in 2 weeks, I'm putting some stuff on ebay and the rest in a garbage can :-)

Asus is rev 1.04, Voodoo 5 5500 came originally with removed heatsinks (I still have them, if you want them!) and some kind of a modded bios. Please, use the search function on this forum - I've had a big thread explaining everything.

Shipping to Romania can be done in 2 ways, and its either-or, it cannot be both:
1. "signed for" (in german, Einschreiben) would cost 21e (however, its NOT insured; as the lady at the post office stated)
2. Insured package with tracking 17e

I also checked shipping rates for everything:

Rigs would have to be sent as insured DHL package:
6,90 eur for Germany
17 eur for EU-wide international shipping (EU-wide)
36,00 eur for USA (bloody hell!).

Small things such as RAM and cards:
4,90 eur Germany
10,60 eur EU wide
16,90 eur USA

Also, everything here except for the 'box of simms for a cent' is tested and in working condition. I can also make photos or videos of the rig(s) and cards 'in action'.
