Hm, several Half-Live extensions (like Counterstrike) introduced large and enhanced Textures.

It might be best to use WickedGL (the Demos run without limitation). It is known to work very well (and fast) using OpenGL and 3dfx cards.

Hi P200!

To get Blue Shift to run on my Voodoo2s I have to do the following-

Open Blue-Shift\gldrv\drvmap.txt
and change

Default Default
gldrv/3dfxgl.dll 3Dfx Mini Driver

to

Default Default
3dfxgl.dll 3Dfx Mini Driver

Wink

Hi Procerus!  Wink

I`ve done that, but now in some levels the game hangs and send an error by "conflict with 3dfxgl.dll" . i`ve tried with latest minigl drivers, but the game still hangs. I`ll use Wicked drivers to test

Thanks anyway!  Cheesy

You SHOULD use WichedGL..

I boosted framerate more then TWICE in CounterStrike, with my Voodoo3 ...

Try it.. Wink

you may want to try the latest mini GL too
http://www.falconfly.de/minigl.htm

(copy it  in the gldrv\ directory, replacing the old one)

it helped me a lot to run HL/counterstrike on voodoo5

I had low framerates with the original mini-GL, and fonts looked a bit blurred with wickedGL, FSAA enabled
now it's fine  Wink

/PS : maybe this one will even allow you to use blue shift's high detail textures Smiley

"Creative Labs MiniGL V1.1.2.0030

969k ZIP
Use for Voodoo2/Banshee only, 512x512 textures capable      "
